This facility can easily be accessed on the iPhone by tapping the Maps icon on the iPhone’s Home screen and then simply type ‘hotspot’ and a zip code for the area you wish to search in. If there are available hotspots in the area a map will be displayed with pushpins indicating the available hotspots for the iPhone.

The maps facility on the iPhone will only indicate the available hotspots, but do not indicate any further information on these hotspots, which may be a turn-off to a number of users, especially those looking for free hotspots.

There, however, exist a software application which allows the iPhone user to search for hotspots, paid or free and provide a short review on each hotspot in regards to signal strengths and more. This is a useful utility, which is available free of charge to iPhone users.

JiWire Wi-Fi Finder offers users a clean and user friendly interface allowing the user to search for Wi-Fi hotspots in more than 150 000 locations throughout 135 countries. Once you conduct a search and hotspots are found, you will be in a position to view the locations’ name, address and phone number. With JiWire Wi-Fi Finder you are able to find either free or paid hotspots and read short reviews on the signal strength at each available facility.

JiWire Wi-Fi Finder is a very easy-to-use application and best of all it is free! iPhone users can simply visit http://iphone.jiwire.com where more information can be viewed on the product and downloaded.

Call forwarding allows the iPhone user to route all calls received to the iPhone number to a different phone number. Call forwarding has numerous advantages, which include the following:

•	In the event of a battery replacement, all your calls can be forwarded to your office or home phone in the period your phone will be off.
•	In the event of a flat battery being charged, you can divert all call received to another number and not miss any important call.
•	When in an area with limited or no coverage, or roaming abroad, you may divert all calls to an Internet-based answering service, which will record messages and forward them to your iPhone as an e-mail attachment.

Two useful Internet-based answering services include www.grandcentral.com and www.callwave.com. These are complementary services to the iPhone and come highly recommended.

When activating or deactivating the call forwarding facility, you will need to be in an area where you have coverage.

Turning Call Forwarding On or Off

The Internet can be accessed by tapping the Safari icon on the iPhone’s Home screen.

Your first step you may want to take in browsing websites is by tapping the address bar on the top of the iPhone screen. In doing this you will notice a virtual browser opening on the screen.

On the virtual keyboard you will notice three buttons not appearing on a general keyboard, they are the .com button, the slash (/) button and the dot (.) button. These buttons are welcomed by the majority of active Internet users on the iPhone and makes life much easier when you need to type in URL’s.

Now you may start typing the URL’s of the websites you wish to visit. The browser has a unique function in storing information of websites you have visited. This is also another useful function offered by the iPhone. When you wish to enter a URL into the address bar, you can simply type the first single letter of the website you wish to visit. All websites starting with that letter will be displayed by the iPhone and you can simply tap the name of the website you wish to visit.

Now you know how to access a website on your iPhone. Here are a few tips for viewing websites and making the most of your Internet usage experience on your iPhone.

Unlocking an Apple iphone has now become a hot topic for many people. The root cause of this issue lies within the user of the iPhone. For example: If a person purchases an iPhone from USA and moves on to another country, he may then face a situation whereby his Apple iPhone can get locked. At this point of time, he then becomes desperate to unlock the iphone. That is why; we see a lot of advertisements on the internet, promising you to unlock your Apple iphone at a reasonable cost. There are companies which sell their own software, claiming to unlock your iphone. There are companies who charge you up to $100 for a particular application in order to unlock the iPhone. They promise you to get the work done, without guaranteeing you about its full working. However, you may also come across a company which claims to solve your locked iphone issue with great success.

You have to be very careful while you make any online purchased software for unlocking your iphone. Look out for a good quality software program which can assist you towards unlocking your Apple iphone. I would advise you to avoid using software’s that are either free or are extremely cheap in cost. You may end up in damaging your iphone. Before you purchase the concerned software for unlocking your iphone, ensure that the software that is installed on your iphone can easily be updated in the near future. Do not entertain any messages that you may come across with regard to downloading new additional software’s. You might end up downloading a virus which will leave you with a phone that might turn up to be not functional. You may also unknowingly place a spyware that allows them to monitor your phone usage. Hence, in order to avoid all this, you should buy your software from a reputable site. By this way you will save your money and above all safeguard your iphone in the process of unlocking it.

A locked phone basically means that the SIM card within your phone is in locked condition. In such a situation, you may not be able to replace another SIM card other than the one which you were using with your handset. Hence, it is termed as a SIM locked phone. Initially, when a GSM phone is purchased by you, it comes in an unlocked state and it can work with a SIM card from any service. However, when you enter into a service contract with a service provider, you are then entitled to use the company’s service for a stipulated period of time. Hence, they are also likely to provide you with a free mobile handset with the SIM card. Remember, in such a situation, the handset that is given to you, will not be able to operate on any other SIM card, other than this one. Basically, the company wants to ensure that you remain with this same service provider for the stipulated period. Now, when you try to unlock a locked handset, you are actually violating the contract that you have signed with your service provider. It is a wise idea to purchase your phone in an unlocked condition so that you have the choice to get your SIM card from the service provider who can give you a good deal.

To unlock your Apple iphone, you need to use the right kind of software. If you try some cheap stuff, you must then be prepared to afford to loose your iphone, in case the gadget becomes dysfunctional. If you are not prepared to face such a type of consequence then you should purchase the concerned software package from a highly recommendable website or company which can guarantee you towards unlocking your iphone successfully.
