However, there are ten things you need to know about blogging, and why it could be ineffective. Here are some of the grounds:

1. You may not have all the time to write.

2. Deciding to get someone to keep posting on your blog may total into huge expenses over time.

3. A blog could lead you to complain, vent, and nag. Emotion overload on the web does not always sell.

4. You may not know it, but you could be revealing too much of yourself over the internet.

5. The maintenance and control of your blog account is retained with the website hosting your blog. Unlike a paid website, you will have very limited or no control at all.

6. Advertising your business through a simple blog will very rarely get you noticed.

7. Your blog account could be obliterated anytime. If you do not have back-up files of everything you have written, your blog host may require from you a certain fee before retrieval can be done.

8. While blogs come free, you will not have the liberty of controlling your site as you wish. Your choices will only be among the templates and background designs that they have provided.

9. Keeping a blog interesting for your readers is not always easy to maintain. You need to keep feeding it with the right written content. Otherwise, your audience will cease visiting your site.

10. Even as you are able to write extensive posts, your audience may lose interest in the middle of your articles. When people are online, they only have a few minutes for each site because there are thousand others waiting for their time.

Therefore, unless you’re a big-shot celebrity or a best selling writer, your blogs may not enjoy as much traffic as you intended. Blogging is not suited for everyone, and there are always reasons why it can be ineffective for you.

By: Kaung | ChitChat247.com | KMKBlog.com

What are the Benefits of Blogging?

Webmaster Articles

blog

blogging

What is blogging you may ask, well in the dictionary (Dictionary.com) it means to write entries in, add material to, or maintain a weblog. A weblog is a website that displays in chronological order the postings by one or more individuals and usually has links to comments on specific postings. While some may think it is a waste of time and energy, others feel that it makes them more connected to people. In fact, there are many benefits by blogging.

Some examples of weblogs consist of online diaries and personal homepages. If you can imagine a topic then you will find someone blogging on that topic.

What a amazing way for people all over the world to come together to share stories and develop into friends. Thinking back to when computers were brought into our homes, who would have predicted that 60 years ago a single mother of two in the United States could be talking to a single parent in England sharing their troubles and pleasures.

Some benefits of blogging include but not limited to:

* Making Friendships
* Making money
* Sharing your knowledge
* Learn new things
* Improve money flow in your business
* Improving your writing skills
* sharing information about your family
* Create a blog for your pictures
* Personal blogs like MySpace
* Political
* Fashion
* Real time discussion
* Research tool

There are many reasons to start blogging as there are to keep blogging. Today there are countless types of blogs out there and millions of people use them everyday. If you cannot seem to find something that you like, start a blog of your own. You have nothing to loose, but a lot to gain. Studies have shown that when people use social networking blogs like MySpace they feel more confident about themselves and more involved with various things than before. Along the same lines they were less anxious then they did before they started using MySpace.

While some may think blogging as a hobby there are as many that think of it as a business. Which ever reason you have for blogging there are as many blogs for you to try.

By: Kaung | ChitChat247.com | KMKBlog.com
