Accessing the Internet on Your iPhone

- While in a website, double tap on an area your wish to view. This will zoom in on the area you have tapped and display it the full size of your screen.
- Using your finger, you can press down on a page and drag it around on the screen. This is also known as Panning.
- Rotate your iPhone in a horizontal position. You are now in a position to view the web in wide screen!
Opening more than one web pages on your iPhone
Need to open more than one web page at a time?
The iPhone consists of a useful facility, which will allow you to open more than one web page at a time. In order to do this, simply tap the pages icon, which is located on the right side of the navigation bar. A new page will pop up on the screen and you may enter a new URL of a website you wish to visit.
The small number you see in the pages icon displays the number of current open web pages. In order to navigate through the different web pages, simply move your finger to the left or right of the screen. You may then tap on a website to open it in full screen size.
In order to close a web page, simply tap the ‘X’ in the red circle at the upper left hand of the page.
Bookmarking Webpages with Your iPhone
Bookmarking websites is a great way of quickly visiting useful websites. This is also a great feature offered by the iPhone. While viewing a website you simply click on the ‘x” at the upper left corner of the screen. You may accept the default bookmark name by clicking save or simply rename the bookmark name by tapping the ‘x’ in a circle next to the name.
