Sheree on The Game

Thanks for the post, Vernon Lowe

Sheree Whitfield did a guest appearance on The Game a few weeks ago. I am liking Sheree more and more on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and I’m glad that she’s getting more acting roles. This season, she seems less delusional and more committed to supporting herself and those around her.

On The Game, Sheree’s part was so small that it was almost non-existent. However, it was my favorite cameo so far during this entire TV season because I think it may have helped her to learn that TV stardom is something that many stars have to work for years to achieve. I read online that Sheree was originally given the role of Brittany, which was a significantly larger part, but the producers changed their minds. It felt good to see Sheree play such a small supporting role. Hopefully, Sheree’s bit part will humble her and motivate her to work harder. I believe we’ll see much more of Sheree in the future, and her cameo on The Game was just the beginning. I watched the show on my cable packages for commercial use, and I never miss an episode of The Game. Hopefully, they’ll bring Sheree back and give her a recurring role on the show.

The Best in Australia is Great

Content by Sol Rosales

Baking shows have become some of the most popular programs on the television screen. Baking shows are a great deal of fun to watch. These are shows that can teach the viewer some really fun and important things and be entertaining and even funny at the same time. There is really nothing else like a good cooking show. It is perfect for taking my mind off of work after a long and stressful day.

The best baking show on television and my absolute favorite of all-time is The Best in Australia, which I watch on my DirectTV. The Best in Australia is a truly unique program. It is a show about a cooking competition that airs on the Lifestyle Channel in Australia. From what I hear, LC has a bunch of really great channels. The great thing about this show is the chemistry between hosts Anne Gare, Darren Simpson, and Ben O’Donoghue. They really go at each other. It is something to behold. Each episode, the three are given one main ingredient. Each of them does their own unique thing with this to create a special meal. Then, they choose food enthusiasts to do the tastings of each dish. The most delicious wins.

The Best in Australia is too much fun to watch. It has everything that a true fan of baking shows could ever want.

[Podcast] General Components of a Press Release

A well written press release is a great method of gaining exposure for your product or service and can lead to media engagements like TV appearances, Radio Interviews, etc. There are many different ways of writing a press release but there are a few components that all press releases should have. These components are:

    Release Time

– The release time of a press release is where you would note “For Immediate Release” or “Release Before or After Date” followed by a specific date for releases that cannot be published instantly.

    Headline

– Your title must engage the reader into wanting to read your content. If you have well written press release but your title is not compelling your press release may be overlooked and passed by in favor of a one with a more interesting headline.

    Summary

– summary is a sentence or short paragraph that comes after your headline. Here is where you continue to attract people into your story by summarizing the information in your press release with a statement that keeps the reader interested. However, you hold a little information back as well.

    Dateline

–You will give distribution date of your press release in this section, then the person’s hometown or company presenting the news, and finally the start of the first paragraph.

    Body

– This is the main area of your press release. You should keep it uncomplicated, brief and to the point. The word count should be between 175 and 300 words. Use bullets where they are required and organize paragraphs for easy reading. Your press release is meant to intrigue the media to contact you for further information. You should add your contact information and website

    About Us/ Boilerplate

– Not everyone uses a boilerplate. However, this the perfect place to add some brief information about your company background, about the person, organization, or company issuing the press release.

    Call to Action

– Its a one-sentence closure following the about us/boilerplate of the press release, and starting with something like “For more information about us” followed by a media contact person’s name and phone number, and sometimes email address.

    Contact Info

– You should include as much information as possible, including a full media contact name, phone number, and email address. You may also include a mailing address, cell phone and fax number.

    Closing

– To end your press release, enter ### on a blank line at the end of the press release. Do not give any information after ### because it will not be published.

These are the general components of a press release that you should keep in mind while writing one.
