Inside People’s Minds…

Past months I have been doing research on people from almost all over the world. And it comes to my attention that most people willingly accept and praise the things they enjoy or can do them by themselves, but when it comes to shocking moments, or amazing situations that they can’t perform or come even close to, they will start criticizing the creator/performer’s works just to make themselves still feel smarter.

People have accepted movie directors, actors, stage performances as entertaiment and have no jealousy while admiring the scenes; they will even comment on how great the entertainment is. But when it comes to the time when somebody else praises on the same entertainment as the other person, that other person tends to hide him/her actual thoughts and start to criticize that entertainment from all angles till he/she feels smarter than the director or performers.

Most people aslo bash the creations and works they are in awe of simply to make themselves feel better and smarter. “In entertainment industry (where people have less chance to meet the performers and creators), there are performances to grab an audience’s attention and the entertainment gains popularity and interest by doing or creating things that are highly unlikely and amazing. And do people bash them? No they don’t because they understand that it’s all an act, great work, and the performers/creators will never realize their admiration.” But when it comes to reality among their daily life, people know if they show admiration and amusement to another close person’s work, it will make them inferrior or less talented. So what do they do? Start bashing, dissing, and criticzing the works. “If they really know better if the work is valuable or not, then good for them, but they don’t have to be rude and criticize one person’s work to make themselves seem smarter. They should accept the work as a person’s greatest effort and a form of entertainment.
