Have you ever had the feeling full of joys, excitements, and accomplishments? Don’t you feel enlightened when your hard works on your sites got paid off and your Google Page Rank (PR) increases? In case you wonder what is KMK going to talk about next with this type of introductory hooks, forget your current thoughts. I am seriously asking and tell me because I have never experienced those feelings and I have never cared about PR.

PR is useless and people talks about PR as if it is the best thing in the webmaster world and as if it helps your site gets more traffic or rank better in search engines.

In fact it is NOT true at all! PR has no affects on any other perspectives of your site other than helping to lure $ from novice or inexperienced webmasters. Think about it, you can make a decent income regardless of PR. True, if you have good contents, from back links you will gain traffic and higher PR but the reverse is not true. Also you will not get increased unique visitors nor conversion because of PR. The only way to have success with your website is to focus on SEO, contents, and link buildings, and to not rely and depend on PR. “But content is King” “But SEM is King”, now don’t digress into other arguments just to prevent me from making disapproval post on PR; additionally, here you go: [Who’s Your Daddy? SEM or Content?].

Either way, I am not the only one who thinks PR is worthless, there are many others agreeing; KingPin has also expressed about it on his SEO Blog.
