GTA IV: Is It Really for Younger Players Too?
Grand Theft Auto IV, developed by Rockstar North, was released on 29th of April 2008 and was a big hit. But now parents are complaning about it and other individuals are also opposing it. Why you may ask and below are the reasons:
1. Prostitutes in the game and the actions has become more realistic and full-on than before. In GTA IV player’s offered three tiers of service resulting in different sexual activities.
You can’t see what is going on but you can surely know how the deals work and how are things done. In your opinion do you think it is a bad influence or right for player of all ages?
2. In previous version player just run down pedistrians by speeding on the pavements. But in GTA IV, as pedistrians are ran down you can see them flipping realistically onto the car bonnet or into the air in a painful fashion.
This may just be a game but can this trigger an introvert gamer with a psychological disorder and/or can this become bad influence to younger players?
3. Now the player can head off to a strip show as an extracurricular activity and get a private dance.
Since the game was released also for player of younger ages, this has raised complaints as well. What do you think?
4. In this game the player can take cousin or buddy out for a few beers and drive under influence back home. You can see the vision getting blurred and hard to control.
This aspect of the game can teach the younger players a good lesson if taken the right way but what if it is taken from wrong perspective?
5. America bashing is also involved in this game; Crooked Politicians, Terrorism, Media Paranoia.
This issue may not alert players or individuals from nonUSA countries nor to some USA players but it has been objected by some.
