Follow THEIR Way?
I dont know what is going on in this world and why but clearly I am sure for one thing. As times go by, people are starting to forget about the word “I”. It appears that that is due to being nurtured by the majority of the world’s populations. There used to be MANY people saying lines as “I believe in this” “I stand up” “NO NO You Are Wrong” “I Will Prove it”, but now only few people use these lines. Most used lines are now “We believe in this” “NO NO We Are Not Wrong” “We are right” and the word “We” has overpowered “I” discouraging people to follow their ways instead of standing up for oneself in one’s OWN way.
A person may have ideas, in fact GREAT ideas to change things around to have better lives and living environments and better everything, but something is keeping that person from expressing it. And what is it? The other majority of the “We” group. The person is scared and afraid that if he/she says what he/she believes in, the “We”s will laugh at them, put them down, and put him/her out of the “community”. And that is what this world has sadly produced these days.
The word I must be reborn in people’s mind to stand up for themselves instead of following others even knowingly that the path they choose to follow is wrong. Each individual must once again learn to do things in OWN ways, no matter how “awkward” “dreadful” “wrong” it may be in the critics’ eyes. Each individuals must not also be ashamed and afraid of their unique ways.
The effects of the bandwagon must be prevented at all cost and live life your own way, doing own things because YOU want to, not because THEY want you to. It is not worth living and walk on the ground you live on, if you don’t live it your own way!
So believe in yourself, have trust in yourself, and stand up for yourself!
(It doesn’t matter if you are a teen or an adult, you know most of you have been walking your friends’ ways
)
