Earn From Freelancing WITHOUT Freelancing
“What?” That may be your first impression when you saw the blog title. “Are you nuts? How could we earn freelancing without freelancing? Or yet the whole line didn’t even make sense!”. Now hold your comments, I am not just saying, I have all the proofs on my side. “Do we have to pay anything to earn back then”? You don’t even need to invest, it even works on free domains (aka subdomains) and free hosting! So no investment necessary even though having your own .com domain will be better. Any way, I am not writing to discuss about domains or hosting, stop making me digress!
As I have posted before, I have joined freelancing sites many months back and still active on most of them I joined; one of them is as you may or may not have already known is GetAFreelancer.com (GAF). It also has an affiliate program where you earn whenever your referrals complete a job and get paid or upgrade to GAF’s Gold Membership. Now since GAF also provide RSS feeds of freelance offers with your referral code embedded, I wonder how can I make use of it legitimately? Then one way strikes me! And it did help me earn extra $100-$300 per month depending on referrals’ activities!
That is to start a blog with auto RSS update! Bare in mind, there will be initial hard work necessary for starting this. You need to get word press and feewordpress plugin (you can use any rss program of your choice too but WP is better with what I am about to do). You can see a sample site here [opens in new window] and I would recommend the similar theme as well (you can get theme provider link at the bottom of that site). Now you get the idea. All you need to do is create categories and run cron for rss.
Now what is so time consuming to start about it? Well, installing wordpress and plugin is easy. The hard part is there are 52 (yes, FIFTY-TWO!) GAF rss job categories, and you have to patiently copy EACH rss affiliate-job URL, paste it in your wordpress rss syndicator, edit for it to show in its own category. But trust me it is worth it.
Do you need to advertise your site when you’re done? Since I have a forum which gets decent amount of traffic, it is easier for me to advertise without doing much work other than putting up the link and putting on social bookmarking sites. You can also do the same and additionally you can also refer your friends too (that’s what I did and they are easy to force to upgrade 
)
