What is blogging you may ask, well in the dictionary (Dictionary.com) it means to write entries in, add material to, or maintain a weblog. A weblog is a website that displays in chronological order the postings by one or more individuals and usually has links to comments on specific postings. While some may think it is a waste of time and energy, others feel that it makes them more connected to people. In fact, there are many benefits by blogging.
Some examples of weblogs consist of online diaries and personal homepages. If you can imagine a topic then you will find someone blogging on that topic.
What a amazing way for people all over the world to come together to share stories and develop into friends. Thinking back to when computers were brought into our homes, who would have predicted that 60 years ago a single mother of two in the United States could be talking to a single parent in England sharing their troubles and pleasures.

Studies have shown that when people use social networking blogs like MySpace they feel more confident about themselves and more involved with various things than before. Along the same lines they were less anxious then they did before they started using MySpace.
While some may think blogging as a hobby there are as many that think of it as a business. Which ever reason you have for blogging there are as many blogs for you to try.
